The Art of Shaping Yourself

I hope you’re feeling the eclipse’s energy in the most aligned and supportive ways. I wanted to share some insights that surfaced during my own ceremony - visions that might spark something in your own healing and direction.

I often see Virgo as a tree - the High Priestess, bridging heaven and earth. But more than a bridge, she is both. There is no separation. No hierarchy. Only wholeness.

On Friday, I was shown this energy as a bonsai tree. A living masterpiece. Bonsai trees are sacred symbols of balance and harmony, shaped with intention, cultivated with care. Their evolution is an art form - a dance between mind and earth. As certain branches are pruned away, others are given space to flourish.

Like all trees, bonsais require strong foundations - healthy soil, water, air, and sun. They also require vision. A quiet knowing of what they can become. Think of Michelangelo, staring at a block of marble until David revealed himself. But unlike stone, the tree is alive. Organic. Shifting. It listens to the rhythms of nature even as it’s guided by human hands.

And so are we.

Your body, your life - each choice you make shapes them, just as a bonsai is shaped by the hands that tend it. The boundaries you set, the nourishment you receive, the vision you hold for yourself, all of it carves you into form. Are you shaping yourself with the same care, love, and devotion you would give to something sacred?

We are still swimming in the lunar energy of Virgo, moving now toward Thursday’s Equinox, a transition from Winter to Spring, from slumber to awakening, from endings to rebirth.

Take a moment this week to reflect:

• If I devoted myself to loving care, to deep vision, how would I shape my mind, my life, my future?
• What choices would nourish me more?
• What needs to be pruned away so that something new can grow?
• If I could see the destiny taking form within me, what shape would it take?

You are your art. You are your purpose. You are your destiny.

Treat yourself as such, and watch what begins to take shape. Watch what begins to grow.
